1. Purpose and Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all memberships and purchases made through Home Improvement Buying Club (“we,” “us,” “our”). By enrolling in a membership or making a purchase, you (“Member,” “you,” “your”) agree to the terms of this Policy, which is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions.
2. Three-Day Cancellation (“Cooling-Off”)
A. Right to Cancel:
You have the right to cancel your membership for any reason within three (3) calendar days of purchase (the “Cooling-Off Period”) and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
B. How to Cancel:
To exercise this right, you must provide written notice to us at Support@homeimprovementbuyingclub.com or call 800-351-8160 within three (3) calendar days from your membership purchase date. The effective date of cancellation is the date your notice is received.
C. Refunds:
A full refund will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days after confirmation of cancellation.
3. 30-Day Refund for Unused Membership
A. Eligibility:
If you have not accessed, redeemed, scheduled, or otherwise utilized any membership benefits, services, discounts, or offers (“Unused Membership”) within thirty (30) calendar days of purchase, you may cancel for a full refund.
B. Limitation:
If you access or use any benefit, discount, or service during the first thirty (30) days, you are no longer eligible for the 30-day refund.
C. How to Cancel:
You must provide written notice of cancellation within thirty (30) calendar days of purchase to Support@homeimprovementbuyingclub.com or call 800-351-8160. Please include your name, membership details, and reason for cancellation (optional).
D. Refunds:
Refunds for eligible Unused Memberships will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days after confirmation.
4. Promotional, Incentive, and Same-Day Signup Offers
A. Waiver of 30-Day Refund:
If you enroll as part of a special promotion, incentive pricing, or same-day signup offer, you expressly waive your right to the 30-day Unused Membership refund as a condition of receiving the discount or promotional benefit. The three-day Cooling-Off Period in Section 2 remains available.
B. Notice:
All promotional or incentive offers will clearly disclose any waiver of the standard 30-day refund policy at the time of purchase or enrollment.
5. Exceptions and Exclusions
A. Ineligible Refunds:
Refunds will not be issued:

After the applicable three-day or thirty-day cancellation periods expire, except as required by law.

For any portion of a membership that has been used, accessed, or partially redeemed.

If your membership is terminated or suspended due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct.

For charges processed by error or after the cancellation period, unless required by applicable law.
B. Force Majeure:
We are not liable for failure to provide services or process refunds due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, power outages, system failures, etc.).
6. State and Federal Law Compliance
This Policy is intended to comply with all applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the FTC Cooling-Off Rule (16 CFR Part 429), California Civil Code Section 1689.20 et seq., New York General Business Law Section 396, Texas Business & Commerce Code, and similar laws. If your state provides you with additional mandatory rights, we will comply as required by law.
7. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
A. Arbitration Agreement:
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Policy, your membership, or your relationship with Home Improvement Buying Club, including the validity, enforceability, or scope of this arbitration provision, shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in the state and county where you reside or another mutually agreed location.
B. Class Action Waiver:
You and Home Improvement Buying Club agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You hereby waive any right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.
C. Small Claims Exception:
Nothing in this section precludes either party from bringing an individual claim in small claims court, if applicable.
D. Governing Law:
This Policy and any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
E. Severability:
If any part of this arbitration provision or class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
8. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update, modify, or amend this Policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted on our website with the revised Effective Date. Your continued use of membership or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Notice:
This Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and applicable law, the law will control only to the extent required, and the remainder of the Policy shall remain in full effect.
